This remarkable large serving bowl is hand decorated with a boar on a background of lively green and rust foliage and dark brown grid. It is stamped Gien France and signed RC.
The Rambouillet dinner service decorated with game animals and other patterns related to hunting was ordered by the French Republic President Rene Coty in 1955 to be used in prestigious residences for official hunts. This hand decorated piece will bring a fresh and unique atmosphere to your interior.
